Reference - Amira Dragmire - OoT Child Incarnation

Hello there! This is the very first reference sheet I've made for my character Amira - her OoT incarnation. You might have seen her around, but for those of you who don't know her, Amira is the daughter of Ganondorf and Nabooru and is also the Crown Princess of the Gerudo Tribe in my canon. This reference sheet will cover her child form; I'll provide a link to her adult form when it's finished.

Name: Amira Dragmire

Nicknames/Titles: Crown Princess of the Gerudo, Princess of Darkness (Much like Zelda is called the 'Princess of Destiny' in prophecies).

Gender: Female

Age: In this reference sheet, 9-10 years old.

Race: Gerudo

Universe: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Child Timeline)

Family: Ganondorf Dragmire (father), Nabooru (mother), Ganymede Dragmire (aunt), Ruaidri Dragmire (half-brother), Koume and Kotake/Twinrova (grandmothers).

She also has a crush on a Hylian boy named Johnassen Poe, and is close friends with the Princess Zelda.

Personality/Traits: Amira is a very kind and enthusiastic little girl, though she can be shy around others. She feels rather useless in comparison to her younger sisters because they are better warriors than she. Amira isn't very strong or able, and has failed almost every combat class she has taken. For this reason, the other Gerudo girls poke fun at her. She prefers to do more feminine things, like weaving flower wreaths and arranging items around the Fortress. She's also very curious and often ventures where she shouldn't. She's very stubborn despite her delicate nature, and will always defend what she believes in. It's nearly impossible to change her mind when she decides upon something. Also, like every Gerudo, she has a sense of pride due to her belonging to the race and feels insulted when it's suggested that she can't do things for herself. She enjoys experimenting with her Dark Magic and embraces her dark side.

Likes: Traveling with her father, Hyrule Castle, when her mom does her hair, snuggling and hugging, making any kind of jewelry, her dancing classes, getting presents, flowers, shallow water, swimming at the Desert Colossus and Lake Hylia, practicing her magic, hanging out with her brother in Zora's Domain, when Zelda tells stories she hasn't heard before, playing her harp.

Dislikes: Lots of combat and fighting with people, when her friends are angry (either with each other or about something else), the Gorons (they scare her, especially those Goron hugs D: ), when she loses control of her Dark Magic, Cuccos, when her dad and mom argue, eating salted meats, sandstorms, getting lost, Skulltulas (she figured out that her dad uses them to spy on people, so she squashes them whenever she gets the chance XD).

Weapons: A slingshot.

Power(s): Dark Magic, formed as purple and black waves or flames. She can cover stones and pebbles in Dark Magic and use them with her slingshot for more powerful attacks.

Other Skills: Amira can also transform into a beast like her father, though she doesn't know how to do it yet.

Strengths: Dark Magic, can easily discern patterns and puzzles, excellent eyesight, good dancer.

Weaknesses: Horrible at physical combat, easily manipulated, very defensive and prideful. Also, she's still just a child, so you have to take that into account.

Relations:

Ganondorf - Amira's father. At first, he was quite disappointed that she had no proficiency in combat, but after discovering her talents in Dark Magic, he decided to train her himself. Amira is his favorite daughter due to his relationship with Nabooru. She enjoys showing off her creations to him and likes to be with him constantly, as well as travel with him, but she knows he has important duties and avoids getting in the way of serious business.

Nabooru - Amira's mother. Nabooru is a very attentive mother to Amira, and she always watches out for her safety. She taught her daughter ways to easily defend herself, knowing that she wasn't a very good fighter. Nabooru is weary of Ganondorf teaching Amira how to use her Dark Magic, but she really has no say in the matter, as Ganondorf's word overrides hers. She doesn't like Amira to be around the witches at all. o.o

Ganymede - Ganondorf's sister and Amira's aunt. Ganymede is very protective of Amira, just like Nabooru, and acts as her mama-bear when Nabs isn't there to do it. She has hopes of Amira learning to become a good physical fighter as well as a magic user, and she is her primary coach after Ganondorf.

Koume/Kotake - Amira's grandmother(s). Koume and Kotake hope to exploit Amira's Dark Magic talents, like they did with Ganondorf. They are rather upset with Nabooru's mistrust, and attempt to be with Amira whenever they can evade the second-in-command's watchful eye.

Ruaidri - Amira's half-brother. Ruai is the son of Ruto's cousin Ramta and Ganondorf, and is part Zora. He came to the desert to be trained by his father due to his magic powers (fire and ice). He and Amira don't get along well at first due to the differences of their culture, but they soon build a very strong bond and an unbreakable friendship.

Princess Ruto - Amira isn't on very friendly terms with Ruto when they first meet. Ruto acts rather "stuck-up" towards the other princess for her own personal reasons. However, she admires Amira's talent for crafting jewelry, even if she doesn't seem to like Amira herself.

Princess Zelda - Amira is good friends with Princess Zelda despite her suspicion of her father. She likes to make Gerudo jewelry for Zelda as a token of their friendship (the gold necklace that she wears as a child is one such item). They often play in the palace gardens and pull jokes on the guards while their fathers do "important, grown-up stuff." However, Zelda prefers to spy on the two kings. She has also taught Amira her lullaby "in case she's ever in trouble."

Impa - Zelda's bodyguard was someone that at first scared Amira. However, she quickly warmed up to the Sheikah. Impa was reluctant to teach a Gerudo the Royal Lullaby, but Zelda insisted upon it. She doesn't trust Amira - not because she inherently dislikes her, but because she is a child and can easily be manipulated by her father.

Malon - The relationship between Malon and Amira is casual. She teaches Amira how to approach the animals (though they still don't seem to like her 'XD). She doesn't see what Amira has against the livestock (Cuccos especially), and is a bit miffed that she refuses to play with them.

Johnassen - Amira's friends playfully refer to Johnassen as her boyfriend. He's the son of a wealthy merchant that trades with the Gerudo. At first, he seems to be just an eloquent snob, but as time passes, he reveals his honorable and kind side to Amira and develops a crush on her... which she returns. However, they insist that they're just friends. They regularly keep in touch through letters. One thing Amira doesn't know... her father reads all these letters... XD

Link - Amira doesn't really know what to think of this strange boy dressed in green, but she knows that he's very sweet and nice, which is why she helps him out sometimes. She also knows that he is a good friend of Zelda. She doesn't know why her father dislikes him so much...

Random Facts:

- When I first created her, Amira was going to be a plain mean, evil, nasty, irredeemable character, and more of a filler character. She was never destined to play a major role in... well, anything. As you can see, she's evolved a lot.

- Because Amira was not an important character to me, I just randomly snatched her name out of thin air. I didn't even know what it meant - it turns out that it means 'princess'. I sure know how to pick 'em, huh? XD

- Amira mothers my main OC Fortuna on down the road. Fortuna has always been my major character, but I wanted to give her mom a chance to be in the spotlight. Besides, it's possible that she's more popular than Fortuna anyways. XD
